CIAR

An Irish name derived from "ciar", meaning "dark" or "black", often associated with darkness of hair or complexion. It’s the root of names like Ciarán – rare and mystical.

SOLAY

A modern, lyrical name possibly derived from "sol", meaning "sun" in Latin and Spanish, blended with a soft, airy suffix. It evokes warmth, light, and radiance — like a poetic variation of Soléil or Solaya.

CIAR'S BACKSTORY

Ciar was lured to be killed by a strange sect that believed blood sacrifices could keep them young. Left barely alive, he was found by Methas, who asked if he wanted to be saved. It was Lord Ramil, Methas’ master, who turned him — becoming his sire and giving him a new, immortal life. The near death experience made Ciar sworn his loyalty to Ramil and caused him to despise humans.
